Sunday, September 26, 2010 - Apparently this year's Sangiovese was not up to scratch so this is merely a blend of Cabernets Sauvignon & Franc. Tuscan nose, cherries, coffee, leather, earth, green peppers, garrigue herbs, later hint of sweet spice. Light-medium bodied, nice tannins, nice acidity with a lovely bitterness giving an interesting bite.
