Sunday, March 23, 2008 - First observation: capsule tight, cork protruding a few millimeters.
Blackish/ruby, dense. Old World nose of earth, underbrush, burning autumn leaves, wood fire, soy sauce and minerals, some burnt-match sulfur, but barely any fruit. Big palate weight, very savoury, with high level of ripe/smooth tannins, just-right acidity and alcohol. Extreme in length and complexity.
