deep ruby and medium body. blueberry, raspberry, cedar and violets on the nose. light feeling but with good density; fairly tight but the fruit slowly fleshes out with a lovely fresh lift and some mineral notes against very fine grained tannins. terrific length.

quite elegant, balanced and focused. it needs about a decade to reach approachability and will likely be extraordinary even later than that.

14.5% AbV; 68% Merlot/ 32% Cab Franc; eighteen months in 50% new oak
