Wednesday, March 21, 2012 - Day 2 notes. Deep garnet color with a hint of brick. Nose presents plum, cherry, hint of musk. The fruit becomes more pronounced on the palate with strawberry and cherry being foremost followed by layers of berries, hint of vanilla and a wee bit of aged terroir. It's mature, very drinkable with a nice old world character coming through. Lengthy finish that concludes a little bitter.
