Saturday, April 27, 2024 - 4/12. See my previous note 400-some days ago for a comprehensive and still-valid take. Today it has the added appeal of flavor permeability and dappled illumination, which gives it action, transparency, and haste. Sticky strands of ruby acidity loft in sun and breeze. For the first time in a while this betrays a strongly typical flavor/texture of Cabernet Franc. Its natal qualities were a mask, now lifted.
