Saturday, March 16, 2013 - At this point in this wine's evolution it's showing a lot of red fruit up front but the blueberry is still back in there, just less pronounced. Same thing I've noted in the Twisted Oak "Potty Mouth", which probably shares some heritage with The Spaniard. Excellent concentration, spice, tart acidity, and soft tannins. Probably drinking about as well as it ever will, but still give it a little air before drinking.
