Sunday, June 11, 2023 - Light yellow color reflecting its youth, a complex of exotic fruit leaps out of the glass showing roasted pineapple, green plum, and kiwi crowned by zingy macerated gooseberry aromas and bound by a soft yeasty character reminiscent of pizza dough wayyy in the background.

The palate is still very tightly wound up and showing primary fruit flavors of northern peach, green plum, and gooseberry with tingling acidity evoking a squeeze of fresh Calamansi juice. Minerals represent by a still-distant petrol note on the back end (none yet detected on the nose) and a steely character one expects from a fine dry Riesling. The balance between minerals, fruit, and acid is just incredible such that it Can at times feel plush on the tongue in spite of its racy acidity.

Thoroughly enjoyable and quenching, I struggle to find anything wrong with this wine, although no doubt it will blossom into much more over a decade or two. The rest of these bottles will be laid down until after 2030.
