Thursday, February 16, 2023 - Oh, this is a lovely wine. Yum. Visited K&L in Redwood City today and asked Alex Schroeder if he had tasted any good wine lately. Koyama Pinot Noir from North Canterbury, Waipara Valley, New Zealand was one of his replies, the one that wound up in my glass. Unfined, unfiltered, blend from several vineyards, 13.5% alcohol. Good nose, clean and elegant Pinot taste. Satisfying. Thank you Alex. Thank you Takahiro Koyama. Points do not reflect excellent value.
