Monday, March 7, 2022 - Served blind by a friend, luckily I had something similar recently so after sniffing its expressive barnyard, meaty and gamey notes I went for a bold dive with CF from Loire, happy that this time I got it right. Medium ruby red. Medium intensity aroma, apart from already mentioned there were also vegetal notes, leather, hints of cherries and strawberries. Medium body, bright, light and vibrantly fresh bone dry red fruit flavours, medium light density, lively acidity concludes with mild tannic structure.
