Friday, December 15, 2023 - A very good oxidative wine from this reliable domain in the Jura subappellation L’Etoile. The grapes come from a vineyard complanted with 50% each of Chardonnay and Savagnin. Golden yellow color and the typical bouquet and taste of this type of wine: aldehydes, curry and walnuts wth a long fresh final. Not for everybody, but tasters who like good Fino Sherry wll be enthousiastic with this wine. I totally agree with Tony Ling’s note and this wine is indeed very food friendly. It is already perfectly drinkable and will last for at least 10 years. Purchased directly from the domain at 16,50€ this is a real bargain.
