Saturday, September 3, 2022 - Napa Cab Afternoon (DV Central): Part of a Napa Cabs tasting double-decanted and blind
Purple Black. Restrained nose at first eve nafter a few swirls. Indicative of a younger wine and this was young Napa on offer. On the palate it was primary, ripe dk red fruit with higher acidity and grippy tannins. Medium plus body and medium plus finish. Very good potential. Open your next in a couple of years with a long decant. Open a '13 version which is a rockstar right now.
