Saturday, August 21, 2021 - Pours a deep, brilliant rose color. Very cherry-heavy on the nose with some white flowers mixed in.
This wine has a medium mouthfeel with low acidity. Honestly, it's pretty flat. Dense flavors on the palate of red cherry, strawberry, and a definite green accent.
I like the ingenuity and creativity by Sheldrake here, but the resulting rosé is a little unbalanced. Not something I'd recommend, but a different take on Finger Lakes rosé.
