Tuesday, June 11, 2013 - Confrerie Chapitre De Vigne En Fleur (The French Table Bistro - Vancouver, BC): Quite tight on the nose at first showing a restrained expression of damp must and soft pinot fruit, along with a touch of earth and spice. Ripe oxidized pear comes through on the palate, along with some red apple skins, ripe strawberries, caramel, soft cherry pinot fruit, and a nice kick of spice towards the back end of the palate. With time the nose explodes with soft butterscotch but not in an oxidized way. This is an interesting expression of pinot, but it seems to be getting towards the end of its life. Drink up. Good+
