Tuesday, September 7, 2021 - Pale gold in the glass with a modest nose of green apple and stone. On the palate the wine shows green apple, lemon, and peach. There’s a clear flint-like minerality that comes forward on the rear palate. Low acidity for a vintage that’s considered classic. Overall a very generous wine, presumably from the winemaker allowing the wine to rest on the lees for some time. Good flavor but the lack of acidity left us disappointed.
