Sunday, September 17, 2023 - Much nicer after having been open for the whole day. Herb inflected fruit on the nose: oregano , sage, cassis, plum skin. Still really structed on the palate with heaps of tannin and acid. This feel smore like CA inflected left bank Bordeaux than what one might imagine as CA merlot. No generic soft fruity wine here. This is super and could benefit from some time horizontal.
