Monday, December 22, 2008 - On the nose I smelled orange creamsicle, oak, toast, vanilla, cream, pineapple, and ginger. The ginger struck me the most, it smelled as if someone had ground fresh ginger right into my wine. In the mouth I got flavors of apple, pear, spiced peach, pineapple, and lemon cream. Sorta like the filling in a lemon danish from a family bakery…not the stuff in Hostess pies.
