Friday, January 7, 2011 - Twisted Oak was my introduction to Viognier with the 2005 vintage. I thought I had perhaps held this bottle just a bit too long, but really it drank fine. Still mouth-filling, with notes of honey, apricot and a bit of pear. A bit of toasty oak still on the finish. A lovely wine.
