Monday, April 22, 2019 - Haut Medoc all the way... pulled the cork and was immediately transported to the study in the chateau. Full of rich leather bound books, sitting at a big oak desk in the center of the room, an open cigar box right in front of me and just the slightest hint of lavender dust lingering in the air. Old school wine indeed. The fruit is not center stage, but not absent. It was rather brooding, dark and deep in thought... I can see how one would find this place hard to get to, but I enjoyed it.
