Saturday, August 4, 2007 - A deep red. Hedonistic, opulent nose of creamy, ripe blackcurrant, cassis, mint, menthol, becoming more vegetal in time. The palate is more indulgence, cedar, great power and structure alongside the minty black fruit. Quite strong, rich flavours of chocolate on the mid palate and long finish. A lovely, yet brutish, wine, packed with flavour and power. Plenty of time left too I think.
