Wednesday, April 17, 2024 - Tasted after a 1.5hr decant. Dark ruby in colour with lovely aromas of slightly herbal leather & chocolate. On the palate, full bodied tart & juicy black fruit, cassis, blackberry, slightly earthy, chocolate, herbal & floral, well integrated oak, medium to high acidity, high soft tannins with a long finish to tart black berries, leather & black pepper. Tasting a little young & aggressive at this time, but will be interesting to see the aging progression.
