Sunday, June 25, 2023 - Extracted 1/2 bottle via Coravin. Drank after 30 min in the carafe. The color is a full straw yellow, hinting at weight to come. The nose has lemon and orange peel, peach, hints of caramel. The palate has a viscous almost oily feel with flavors of steely stone fruit and melon, with underlying savory herbs, vanilla, and creamy citrus. Very long finish that develops over a minute or more with some salinity expressed at the end. The wine has amazing body for a white and pairs well with dishes such as a roasted branzino with cherry tomatoes drizzled with grassy EVOO. ABV 14%.
