Friday, February 8, 2008 - Attractive pinot-like ruby color. A little cough syrupy upon opening, but, with air, quickly opened to reveal cherry, anise, lemon and pepper flavors. Light to mid-bodied, and really food friendly. Long, peppery finish, with some medium tannic grip. This is outstanding Chianti.
