Tuesday, July 18, 2023 - Candied fruit to the nose. Founded in 1991 with Randy Dunn on Howell. Ripe fruit, lots of richness on the palate, sexed up SB, probably some Semillon in there. On the waiting list for this vineyard, actually, scratch that they have that. Spottswoode and Quintessa are the immediate buyers of the SB fruit, Clone 1 here. And obviously if you look at the label the Sonoma Mountain vineyard of Farina. Fermented in concrete egg and a touch of acacia. Once a week lees stirring but NO OAK. So just some rich fruit. French acacia wood. This wood is very dense, very hard, not as porous.
