Monday, February 13, 2023 - Pale ruby, almost brownish tinge. Nose is so fresh and bright, cherries, pomegranate, raspberry, grapefruit, tomato paste. Palate light body, medium finish, high acidity, little tannin, flavor similar to nose, though finish has some sea water and meaty flavor as well with a little black pepper, kalamata olives, cured meat, and some sour roast almond on the finish. I found this to be an interesting wine, and fun to experience a varietal and region I don’t see often. Would love to try more in the future.
