Sunday, December 25, 2022 - Christmas wine. Popped and poured and initially it was way too harsh.

2-3 hours later we came back to it and it had opened up quite nicely. Dark inky ruby with extraction. Nose of fresh dark cherries, hint of smoke and spice. Palate follows the nose and there are grippy tannins and medium plus acidity. Overall I think this needs more time in the cellar.
