First sip I would not pin this as a zin (although it is a blend), but taste a bit of white pepper, the Petite Sirah gives it some weight, bit of baking spice, hints of vanilla, resolved tannins, very smooth. Nice lingering finish. Impressive for an almost 20 year old Zin!
