Wednesday, December 15, 2021 - Like every Opolo wine I have tasted, this Sangiovese is fruit forward and very accessible. This one is more Super-Tuscan in style than Chianti-like, as it is fruitier and smoother than most chiantis. A nice bargain red with enough body and flavor to stand up to a meal of hearty Italian food.
