Saturday, March 4, 2023 - 2023 La Paulee Grand Tasting of 2020 Burgundy (Pier 60, New York): Light red color, light to medium weight. Completely seductive scents and flavors of red berries. Great depth of flavor despite the feather like feel. Incredible spice, persistence, and sneaky tannins to provide shape. I found it difficult to not be excited by this wine. Not a big boy at all, but it still slays.
