Saturday, December 21, 2013 - From an excellent looking bottle, this wine had a brilliant gold center and clear rims. The medium intensity nose displayed lemon, lime, white stone, and a hint of hazelnut.

In the mouth this was medium bodied with crisp lemon & stone flavors. While not particularly think or rich, this wine was ripe and had a nice glycerol feel. However, all that was overwhelmed by the brisk, lemony acidity.

This is classic Bonneau, light and crisp and it lasts forever in the bottle. While I would say this wine is bit past its peak, it probably won't taste much different 5 years from now. If the bottle has nice color, don't hesitate to give it 2+ hours of air.
