Wednesday, June 24, 2009 - Ripe, rich, and unctuous. There is a hint of walnut skin buried in the deep pit fruit flavor. Sweet entry and a bit of rs and smokiness on the finish with enough acidity to be refreshing. Very enjoyable on its on. Excellent pair with spicy tofu. Very good pair the next night with mushroom zucchini frittata.
