Monday, July 17, 2023 - Picked this up on sale, which is what motivated me to try it. My wife called the nose “musty old newspapers” with a touch of cream. I called Granny Smith apples. This latter is confirmed very intensely on the palate. There’s a bit of toasty oak on the finish. This is bright and acidic but very one-note. Would be quite food-friendly. Definitely not winning any awards but a pleasant enough quaff.
