Sunday, April 2, 2023 - 70% in French oak (10% were new barrels) & 30% stainless. Decanted 45m.

Red licorice, ripe raspberry, earthy, black tea, cigar humidor, a hint of wet stone & metallic, tart cherry.

I liked this but didn't enjoy the higher ABV of 14.5%. I feel the higher ABV took away slightly from it's elegance, and the whole wine came across as a touch hot. I'd toss this away in your cellar for another 2+ years before even drinking.
