Wednesday, September 2, 2015 - Immediately expressive with a nose full of smoked meats, compost, sweet cedar and iron. It is dense and sweet in the mouth with robust meaty flavours and some sweet florals. It is chewy with some wood tannin astringency. The wine's abundant minerality makes itself known just after swallowing.
