Sunday, February 1, 2009 - At first I thought this wine would redeem itself but instead it got worse with time. Upon first opening, a nose of Cherry, Mint, herbal tea and manure. Followed by raspberry fruit, cut grass and minerals. Excellent acidity but a little lighter body than expected from Chianti with a short finish. However, with time the nose picked up the same off putting almost cardboard and then described as dirty socks by my wife... Oh God she's right. Maybe it's a point in this wines life but after two tastings, I'm disappointed.
