Thursday, April 2, 2015 - Delicious. Powerful nose of black cherry, anise, rose petal, freshly turned earth, and cool minerality. The palate is lovely, elegant, but still has some tannin that kicks in. The red berry, floral, and anise notes are in full effect. The finish is good. Certainly seems to have structure and flavor to continue to evolve for several years. Definitely good now, I suspect will be better in another 2-3 years.
