Saturday, December 25, 2021 - Drank last nite for xmas eve at the Pollacks. Dark ruby red core, no age apparent. Generous nose of black cherries, tobacco and tar. Medium to full body, still with a solid mix of black and red berry fruit, good concentration, woodsy elements and spice. I noticed a good amount of sour cherries, with notes of tobacco, espresso and some tar. Excellent length with forest floor notes on the back end/finish. Tannins are light to moderate, and mostly non-intrusive. Lovely wine that has matured nicely.
