Dusty nose of shoe leather, sandalwood and dried rose petal.

Quite thick on the palate with fairly rich blackcurrant fruit finishing with firm slightly drying tannin. It has quite a rustic character and is a touch volatile on the finish. This has certainly retained quite a bit of power but lacks some depth on the palate.
