There’s a warmth to the fruit, showing hints of the solar vintage, but really it just makes the wine more delicious at this young age. Next night: still tasty, but there’s a definite solar quality to the wine. Not Russian River ripe, but a noticeable roasted character in the background. I’m enjoying the remains of the bottle, but I don’t think this is a wine to put away for long term aging.
