Friday, November 11, 2022 - Deep garnet in color. Nose of cherry, sandalwood, and vanilla. On the palate, black cherry, vanilla, and hints of clove and almond. Medium bodied and smooth. The finish is long and shows complexity. As it opens, more notes of black pepper on the finish. A very enjoyable wine and strikes me as a perfect pairing for veal.
