Monday, April 22, 2024 - Opened one up because I read in Vinous this is not for the long term.
Color: still purple, rather extracted aka darker for a burgundy.
Nose: needed some time to open up. Deep dark red fruits appear after some time.
Taste: very juicy and rather balanced with tannins, bitters and acids clearly in place. A nice long aftertaste with a hint of alcohol at the end. I looked and whaw it is Alc 15.0%vol.
Blind I would have guessed new world probably.
You can drink this now if you want but to my old schoot taste this is way to young. I will way and let it evolve in a nice burgundy with maybe a bit to much alcohol..
