Provenance was very good if not excellent. Decanted. After reading some tasting notes, I was expecting a different type of wine. Color was a dark maroon color but not as opaque as the Alion that was next to it. Nose wasn't as expressive as the Alion with a black tea and potpourri mixed in. The palate was much better with crushed red cherries and dark chocolate but faded as the evening wore on.
