Thursday, March 9, 2023 - A major step up after trying the Corton and Ech in the same flight. Aromatically complex and highlighted by clove, cinnamon, and allspice notes. Impressively fruit forward and providing great pleasure at so young an age. The combo of ripe upfront delicious red cherry and strawberry and bright acids keep the wine fresh and intriguing, while the intense spices seem already well defined and infused. Perhaps a slight bitter element the only detractor. This is very impressive.
