Monday, May 22, 2023 - Deep purple with hints of dried leaves, pencil shavings, camphor, blackberry and blueberry. The palate is well rounded with subtle grip and bright acidity. A medium to full body with very well integrated tannins. Reminds me of dark chocolate. The finish is long and memorable. This can compete with almost all Malbecs with its elegance and poise. Another gem from Chappellet.
