Comes off as rich yet elegant but with an animal hint to it that really tempts you to take that first sip. First impression in the mouth is of black currant and vanilla but then as it hits your mid palate it explodes with ripe raspberry fruit and an earthy minerality that leaves you feeling refreshed. The finish is super long and reminiscent of the raspberry fruit on the mid-palate. This wine is a conundrum. Pleasing in so many ways and on so many levels.
