Tuesday, April 1, 2008 - Opened, decanted to remove sediment and poured immediately. It was fantastic, with lovely earthy tannins and a good length. We were very pleased, having previously had the same vintage and been disappointed at a wine tasting which had the same source of supply - we think maybe they had opened the bottle too far in advance - this just needs opening and pouring, there is no benefit from additional airation. Lukcily I have one more bottle! Thirty year old Bordeaux at its best.
