Friday, October 24, 2008 - Popped and poured at cellar temp. Nice nose of dark fruit, graphite, a little vanilla. The wine was showing its youth, but had a nice palate of dark fruit, damp earth, cassis, and cedar. Still plenty of unresolved tannins, but the wine got better as it sat in the glass. Plenty of structure and some of the tell tale Stag's Leap profile.
