Wednesday, February 24, 2021 - This shows more of a fatter Russian River Pinot Noir, with intense notes of dark bramble, dark plums, wild berries, dried herbs, vanilla and charred cedar. The palate is fat, rich yet with that Russian River lushness. The fruits are certainly more on the darker side with a crushed stone, forest floor, and smokiness. Did they overdo the oak on this?
