Tuesday, March 26, 2024 - Ripe and cooked "sweet" blackberry, black plum, black cherry, vanilla, charred wood, espresso, baking spice, and developing tertiary with prune, dried red cherry, and molasses. 35% primary, 65% tertiary. Massive concentration, extraction. M+ acid. High tannin with a thick silky texture. Full body. M+ aromatic intensity. Pronounced flavor intensity. Long finish. Inky ruby color. Outstanding. With air, it's becoming a little Amarone-like. I probably would have enjoyed it even more a year earlier.
