Saturday, December 31, 2011 - Decanted an hour prior to dinner. Deep garnet color, light meniscus. Aromas of lavender, violets, plum, old leather, anise and chocolate. Well-integrated, with flavors of blackberry liqueur, plums, chocolate and anise. Hints of cedar and leather as well. 91-92 pts; drink now.
