Sunday, August 20, 2023 - Clear, almost amber-like colour. The nose is oxidised, carrying notes of cornflower and a slight madeira-like tone. On the palate, the wine feels medium-bodied and quite low in acidity. A distant aroma of ripe yellow apples can be found, along with the slightest hint of oak.
This was in no way reminiscent of the white Musar's I've had in the past. As these wines are known for their capability to age for a long time, I think it is safe to say this bottle was not of sound quality. Looking forward to trying another bottle soon.
